Join this self-paced online learning module to find out all about Hydrogen for Road Transport, and discover whether this technology is the golden bullet of Net Zero, or just a load of "hot air". 

The module is designed to take between 2-3 hours to complete and can be done in one go or you can drop in and out as time allows.

Currently there are only two truly zero-emission transport technologies - Electric Vehicles (EVs) or Hydrogen. EVs have been getting a lot of press, but it's important to understand how Hydrogen compares and whether it is a competing or complimentary technology.

• Discover how hydrogen is produced and transported
• Compare hydrogen with electric vehicle technologies and understand the advantages and disadvantages of each

• Hydrogen for Road Transport: An introduction to the key technical concepts of hydrogen fuel cells and hydrogen internal combustion engines.
• Production & Refuelling: Exploring how hydrogen is produced, gets transported to the point of use and eventually makes it's way into the vehicle.
  
• Applications and limitations: No technology is perfect, but all great innovators knows that the aim is to find their niche. In this section we will examine the strengths and weaknesses of hydrogen for transport and compare the technology to electric vehicles to identify where they compete and where they provide complimentary solutions.
• What's next?: The hydrogen industry is constantly innovating and developing. Here we will explore the likely future opportunities and innovations for hydrogen and the impact these will have on the business case for hydrogen for transport.
